Wendy Searle has built her professional life around communicating clear, powerful messages that allow people to make better-informed decisions on things that matter. She’s committed to assisting people understand what’s happening in often complex areas; including through her writing (including for ABC Radio National), hosting speaking engagements (to community and professional groups) and as founder of the Conversation Klub. She facilitates understanding by interviewing professionals on their fields of expertise and asking the questions that illuminate our combined understanding.
Trained as a journalist, and with experience on a daily newspaper, Wendy also has expertise in financial markets communications and personal branding for busy professionals.
She also provides pro-bono communications and marketing advice to charities and other non-profit organisations and is a champion of community engagement communications. She established an annual art award for school children with the Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation that is now in its ninth year. The Matthew Jones Art Award raises, through the sale of the children’s artworks, money for children with severe disabilities, enabling children to help other children.
Wendy has four sons, whom she is assisting to become decent young men.
